The Phoenix of Chesapeake - 14’x25’, 17”x31”, The mural and painting are for the Chesapeake Walmart, the location that experienced a tragic mass shooting last November. The artwork includes iconic elements of the City of Chesapeake (Jordan Bridge over calm water, a majestic blue heron taking flight, and a vibrant garden of black-eyed Susans). All are aglow by a setting sun that reflect strength, rejuvenation, and connection.

“The Selection Committee” - 22”x22” In the lobby of an America smorgasbord resides a claw-crane vending machine that is impossible to ignore. The contraption houses an array of all-you-can-eat colors, tones, and textures.

The males will shake their tail feathers to confuse peahens, an attempt to trick the ladies into thinking they have more than they actually possess. Sometimes that is also the case for humans.
